What Reception is
Reception sets up and runs a front desk for your business: an assistant that answers your customers on your own link and QR code, in your brand, and passes their enquiries to you. We may also build websites and custom tools where you ask us to.
What it costs
The front desk is S$349 a month. It is one flat price, with no hidden fees and no setup charge. Websites and custom tools are quoted separately before any work starts, so you always know the price up front.
No lock-in
There is no contract and no lock-in. You can cancel any time and your front desk will be switched off at the end of the paid month. We will not hold your enquiries hostage, you can ask for an export before you go.
How the front desk answers
The front desk answers from the information you give us, your services, prices, hours and any notes. It is built to never invent a price or a fact, and to take a customer's details when it does not know something. Like any assistant it can occasionally get something wrong, so you are responsible for keeping the information you give it accurate, and for the prices, claims and promises it passes on as yours.
Using it properly
- Use the service for a genuine business, and follow the law that applies to your trade.
- Do not use it to mislead customers, or to collect information you are not entitled to.
- For regulated work, such as property or insurance, the front desk shares general information and takes details for your licensed person to follow up. It does not give regulated advice, and neither do we.
Keeping it running
We work hard to keep the service available around the clock, and to fix any problems quickly. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during provider outages or maintenance, but your enquiries are saved to your dashboard so nothing is lost if a notification is delayed.
Fair limits
To the extent the law allows, Reception is provided as is, and our responsibility to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the month a problem happened. We are not responsible for lost business or indirect losses. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed under Singapore law.
Your customers' data
How we handle the personal details your customers leave is set out in our privacy page. In short, for those enquiries we act on your behalf, we do not sell the data, and we pass it to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute is dealt with in the Singapore courts.
